目的

设计竞赛作为天津国际设计周的常设奖项，旨在为中国当代艺术寻找新的语言和思想创新，文化创意产业的发展需要不断有充满朝气活力的年轻人注入新鲜血液，鼓励青年艺术家尝试创造属于自己的艺术语言。

PURPOSE

Design competition as the permanent award of Tianjin international design week, aimed at looking for a new language and the creative thinking for Chinese contemporary art, the development of cultural creative industries need to constantly have some fresh blood to the young people, full of youthful vigor, to encourage young artists try to create their own artistic language.

主题

 “行住坐卧”

此次竞赛主题为“行住坐卧”，在新时代，我们期待一群视野开阔、年富力强的设计师，用他们魔术师般的手，点石成金，让那些颓败的城市梦幻变身，璀璨夺目。“行=城市生活”、“住=涉及建筑”、“坐=家具生活”、“卧=死/自然”，并由此对环境进行思考。将“行住坐卧”用中国的思想方法加以诠释，并针对现代的城市、建筑、家具、自然进行思考。

THEME

”walking, living, sitting
and lying down”

The contest theme is “walking, living, sitting and lying down”, in the new era, we are looking forward to have a group of young designers, with their open eyes and their magic hands, turn it into gold, let the decadent city have a fantastic transformation, turned into bright.

" walking = the city’s life "/" living = involves the construction"/" sitting = furniture and life" /" lying down = death and natural"

we can start to think on the environment, using the Chinese thinking method to explain “walking, living, sitting and lying down”, and to cogitate on the modern city, architecture, furniture and natural.

作品

期待从城市规划、建筑设计、工业设计、平面设计、摄影等各个领域的参加者参赛，以 “行住坐卧”为主题从不同视角进行表现。

WORKS

The theme of “walk, live, sit and lie” can be examined from different perspectives, the participants can present projects regarding urban planning、architectural design、industrial design、graphic design and photography and so on.

报名资格

截止2016年2月15日年龄未满40周岁者（含40周岁）均可报名。国籍不限，社会人士及在校学生均可参加，参赛者可以个人身份或团队报名。（以团队进行报名的，成员年龄需均小于40周岁）

REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT

Those who, on 15/2/2016, have not yet reached 40 years old (within, therefore, the fortieth year age) are invited to join the competition. There are no restrictions on nationality and on social class. Also students can participate; you can sign up as a group or as individual participant (if you sign up as a group, each member must not have yet reached the forty years ).

 报名参赛时，仅限使用“英语”和“汉语（简体）”。

OFFICIAL LANGUAGES

Only English and Chinese (simplified form) languages are allowed.

参赛方式

参赛者请遵守以下规定

1. 要求参赛者规定时间内登陆天津国际设计周官方网站（网址：www.tianjindesignweek.com）设计竞赛报名专区填写报名表并按照规定格式要求报送作品。
2. 报送同时请确认由竞赛组委会发送来的具有报名序号的确认函（电子邮件）”。没有收到确认函的请与竞赛组委会联系。

Participants must observe rules below:

1. Your application should be received before the deadlines provided in the official website of the International Design Week Tianjin (www.tianjindesignweek.com); to enter the competition each candidate must register for it by filling out and submitting works in accordance with the requirements.
2. Once you have submitted the application form, please confirm your reservation code that the Organizing Committee will have forwarded via e-mail. If you do not receive confirmation, please contact the Organizing Committee of the Competition

时间安排

时间安排具体如下。

1. 征集要点的公布和宣传／2月15日〜4月15日 
   通过各种媒体发表大赛征集通知。
2. 报名申请时间/截止至4月15日。
   请在上述日期内提交报名表。
3. 作品报送期间／2月18日〜4月15日 
   请在此期间将作品报送竞赛组委会，由组委会挑选入围作品。
4. 评审期间／初审 4月17日 终审 4月20-21日。
   此期间将由评委会评价作品，并将结果通知获奖者。
5. 作品展示筹备期间／4月25 日〜5月7日

此期间入选者准备出席天津设计周开幕式暨设计竞赛颁奖仪式及入选作品展示。（入选者须在此期间内修改设计图、３Ｄ图等，制作模型、思考现实作品等）

PROGRAM

1. Publication of principal information, from 15 February to 15 April. Notice of competition will be published within these days through media.
2. The registration period ends on the 15 April 2016. Please send the application form within those dates.
3. The works presentation period goes from 18 February to 15 April in 2016.
   Please send within these dates the works to the Organizing Committee, which then will select the finalists.
4. First evaluation will be made on 17 April 2016 and the final evaluation will be made on 20-21 April.
   In these days the committee will evaluate and select the works, and then proceed to inform the winners.
5. Organizing works for the exhibition, from 25 April to 7 may

Within these days, selected works will be prepared in order to attend the opening ceremony of the design competition in TDW and will be exhibited at the awards ceremony (those who will be selected, during this period will improve the work by adding sketches, 3D maps, by creating models, and consistent arguments).

• 金奖 1名  获奖证书及奖金20.000元人民币
• 银奖 2名  获奖证书及奖金15.000元人民币
• 铜奖 5名  获奖证书及奖金10.000元人民币
• 优秀奖10名   获奖证书

获奖者作品将在天津国际设计周期间进行展示，并参加天津国际设计周开幕式暨设计竞赛颁奖仪式，金银铜奖获得者（团体报名者派一名代表）将获得免费往返机票及住宿，优秀奖获得者将获得免费住宿。大赛入围作品将由大赛主办方免费为其申请专利。

AWARDS

Bonus prizes:

• Gold Award (1 place) / certificate and a money prize of 20,000 RMB.
• Silver Award (2 places) / certificate and a money prize of 15,000 RMB.
• Bronze Award (5 places) / certificate and a money prize of 10,000 RMB.
• Honor Award (10 places) / certificate.

The winner works will be exhibited at the International Design Week Tianjin (the method by which the public has selected the best works and issued certificates will be all shown), and they will participate in the opening ceremony and award ceremony of the design competition in TDW. The gold prize winner (in the case of group candidates , will be sent only one representative person ) will get free air ticket and accommodation. The winner work of design could gain the dignity of print. The winners will receive a free patent from the organization committee.

参赛作品条件

1. 作品设计成展板形式(展板限定为横向，包括所有内容)， 最多不超过2张展板，具体展板要求：  作品为jpg格式的电子文件; 版面内容包含主题、效果图、必要的结构图、基本外观尺寸图及说明文字（800-1000字符）等；其中效果图表现手法不限，手绘、计算机等任何方式，能清楚表现设计者的创意和设计即可；设计作品版面规格为1200x900mm，分辨率为150dpi精度。作品如果入围必须提供300dpi的原始图片，以供将来展示及出版用途。
2. 设计图纸不得出现以下内容：参赛者所在单位、姓名（包括英文或拼音缩写）或与参赛者身份有关的任何图标、图形等。

TERMS OF THE WORKS IN COMPETITION

• The works made of panels (the panels should be displayed horizontally and included all the contents), cannot be composed by more than two panels, concretely it’s required: jpg size for document in digital format ; layout contents can includes themes, images, layout diagrams, figures and captions (800-1.000 characters); the use of diagrams, freehand drawings or computer drawings is not limited because in this way the creativity of the designers and the potential of the work can clearly be expressed; the layout specifications for design works are 1.200x900 mm, with a resolution of 150dpi. The shortlisted works must provide 300dpi original picture for future display and publication purposes.
• Design drawings may not appear the following: the unit of the contestants, name (including English or Pinyin initials) or with any competitor identity-related icons, graphics and so on.

权利和义务

1. 本次大赛不收取任何费用。
2. 参赛作品的传播、展览、刊登、出版等的版权归组委会所有。组委会在使用参赛作品时，对其作者予以署名。
3. 所有参赛者不得要求组委会退回所提交的参评资料，不向大赛主办单位、承办单位及组委会提出任何形式的索偿要求；
4. 参赛作品必须原创，不得有与同类作品相似或相近，不得有侵犯任何第三方的著作权或其他任何知识产权或专有权利的情况,如发现参赛者申报作品有不符合参赛条件情形，组委会有权在大赛任一阶段取消其参赛资格，收回其所获之奖项，由此造成举办方损失的，概由参赛者承担；
5. 如其他方对参赛产品提出知识产权方面的争议，则由参赛者自行处理并承担一切法律责任；
6. 本规则的解释权归主办单位。

RIGHTS AND DUTIES

1. This competition is non-profit .
2. The organizing committee has the copyright on divulgation, exhibition, publication and on reproduction of works. The works used by the organizing committee will be signed by the author.
3. The Committee is not required to return to any competitor participant materials submitted for the competition; it’s not possible to request any kind of reimbursement to the sponsors and to organizers of competition.
4. The work must be original, there cannot exist similar works, it’s not possible violate the copyright of third parties or any other intellectual property right; if we find that the works that you declare do not meet the terms for participation in the competition, the relevant authority reserves the right to disqualify the participant, in any time of competition, and pick up awards already gained; all the expenses will be paid by the participant in question.
5. If other participants will raise a question on intellectual property rights, the legal responsibility will be assumed by the participants themselves.
