从一个原型开始做出各种各样衍生的家具。比起新颖的设计更追求有深度的设计。设计如果只是新颖而已，则会很快失去新鲜感。而有深度的设计则能保持永久的美感。我们研究人，追求以人为本的家具。
从内而外去思索，对家具应有的状态、室内应有的状态、建筑应有的状态、甚至于城市应有的状态进行思考。从内心的问题出发，扩大到考虑触觉、视觉的美感。重视野性的感觉，想象出它的构造与美感。
不去追赶时代。追求流行并不能构想出真正的家具。
何为椅子、何为桌子，通过这些摸索产生设计。把一个理念作为基础，衍生出多数的设计。这个想法将在十年、二十年之间无数次改头换面重新登场。
这些家具每天都会成长。通过人们的使用而产生智慧，将这些智慧再体现出来，就会逐渐成长为精益求精的家具。家具的尺寸是根据摆放的房间大小订制。发挥设计理念的同时，家具的尺寸是切合使用者的需求去制作的。
设计中需要有日常的宁静感，但同时也必须要有催化生命的刺激力。为了唤醒素材凝聚在基因里的记忆，多用木材与铁，营造怀旧和稳重感的同时，通过设计理念给家具带来更新鲜的刺激。
我们一直在找寻原始的风景。找寻椅子的原始风景、柜子的原始风景、柜子的原始风景。那样的话这些家具就能够获得普遍性。在满足各种要求的同时，成为具备普遍性的家具。这就是我们理想的家具。

Compared with the novel design, we are more likely to pursue the profound design. The design would lose the feeling of freshness quickly if it’s only novel. However, the profound design is able to maintain permanent aesthetic feeling. We, the researchers, are pursuing the furniture that is people-oriented.
We think from inside to outside about what the status of furniture, indoor, building even city should have. Starting from heart, we further consider the aesthetic feeling of touch and vision. The structure and aesthetic feeling of furniture is imagined by focusing on visual feeling.
We don’t chase after the times since real furniture cannot be conceived only by pursuing fashion.
We explore what is chair and what is desk to generate the design. A great number of designs are derived on the basis of one concept. This idea would come on stage in a new form again and again in one or two decades.
The furniture grows everyday. The wisdom generated after people’s use will be embodiedand then the excelsior furniture is available gradually. The furniture size is ordered according to room dimension, which meets the user’s requirement as well by giving full play to the design philosophy simultaneously.
The daily tranquility is needed during design, but the motivational power for vital catalysis is also absolutely indispensable. In order to refresh the memory in gene from life material, wood and iron are used more to create nostalgia and sobriety, meanwhile, fresher stimulus is brought to the furniture by design philosophy.
We are seeking for the primitive scenery all the time like chair and cabinet. In that case, the furniture can acquire universality. The ideal furniture we want should be able to meet all kinds of requirements and wide application.
