这个展出通过椅子展现出100年来的设计之路。椅子，从一开始用来坐的工具，后来逐渐成为永不停止挑战的设计主题，建筑和设计师们尝试融合创造，科技创新，手工制作以及工业发展元素来对它不断进行设计。

100 years of design history explored through a specific object: the chair. Answer to the earlier need for humans to seat, the chair has later become for architects and designers a research topic where creativity, technical innovation, craftsmanship and industrial development constantly faced each other in a ceaseless challenge.

Leathership. 执慧之手。一个新词，一个商标。通过Poltrona Frau来描述在皮革世界中的首要地位。自1912年，皮革一直是用于装饰优雅的首选的材料，因为它的标志性、历史性以及家具的现代性。

Leathership. A neologism. A trademark. A word coined by Poltrona Frau to describe its primacy in the world of leather. Leather has been its material of choice since 1912, used to elegantly dress its iconic, historic and contemporary items of furniture.

“家之个性”走进意大利人的家居生活并探索他们当代家居生活方式。 居住的方式会影响我们的情绪，而且能创造独具一格的室内空间，因为它是完全私人化的，所以能够表达出主人的喜好和品味。

“Home as a portrait” enters the Italian house to explore contemporary ways of living.  Ways of living that give shape to our emotions, able to create a domestic space which is unique because it belongs to an individual, it shows his desires and his passions.

鉴于日常生活的种种烦琐，弗雷德里克•福亚特时常需要重新安置家中事物，组装可移动物品的过程带来了戏剧化的小片段。在其作品中，福亚特深入进行了若干种类的动作研究。无视物理定律，他以日常事物构建 起实验性装置。

Confronting the perfidities of day-to-day life, Frederik Foert constantly rearranges his household and generates small cinematic moments by constructing kinetic objects. In his work, Foert creates motion studies of several kinds. Ignoring the laws of physics, he builds artistic experimental setups out of everyday items.

诺亚花园里面看一看植物和动物，那曾经是它留给世界的最后的希望，看一看被无数镜面反射的自己，如何改变？如何让我们生起觉悟的正念，答案就在其中。
邓国源的装置艺术作品以全新语境诠释了人与自然、人与社会、精神与物质的普世命题。

Noah's Garden is the last hope in the world. Look at yourself in the mirror. How to change? How to let ourselves mindful. The answer is here.
Deng Guoyuan’s art work takes advantage of brand new contexts to interpret man and nature, human and society, spirit and object.

所谓传统就是民族或文化圈的共同记忆。天津传统工艺馆在保存着这种庞大传统 记忆的同时,珍藏有镌刻着现代审美意识与 未来愿望的主题作品。并非单纯地对传统 工艺进行收集,而是精选当代设计师以及 对当代思想给予充分理解的工艺师们在传 统记忆的基础上描绘出的当代与未来的作 品。我们将这个视角作为天津传统工艺馆作 品收集的条件。

Traditions refer to the common memories of a nation or of a cultural circle. Tianjin Traditional Arts and Crafts Museum has preserved such profound and substantial memories, and has treasured works that combine modern awareness of aesthetic appreciation and future wishes. It does not simply collect traditional arts and crafts, but selects works describing the present and the future on the basis of memories about traditions of modern designers and craftsmen who have full understanding of modern thinking. This is the perspective by which Tianjin Traditional Arts and Crafts Museum collects works.

“随艺生活”（heart of life）提出设计无处不在，倡导品质生活. 如果说追求品位是一种认真的态度，那么生活中总有一些小物件、小情怀能打动您。

“Heart of Life” is a market for handmade creative design covering original paintings, tie-dyed scarves, hair accessories, customized dresses, works from independent glass design brands, handmade jams, wood household goods & much more. The subject of this creative market assumes that design is everywhere and advocates a better quality of life.
