The exhibition Contemporary Architecture. Made in Germany. pursues the question in three differently themed chapters how architecture in general can approach the great challenges of the 21st century and shows real solutions provided by German architecture firms. It thereby highlights the current German architecture and engineering industry while, through the pointed formulation of the project answers, encouraging the debate participants from around the world to position themselves in relation to these issues: What does living and working mean in the 21st century? Which techniques can sustainably change and improve our lives and building solutions? How can urbanity and nature be reconciled? And how can the realisation of a complex construction project succeed?
